Privacy

Project 143 collects only what it needs to run a small clothing label and answer the people who write to it.

What we collect

• The Drop 01 list. Your email address, and if you give them, your first name and the piece you want most. We use this to send one email when Drop 01 opens.
• Messages. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can reply and follow up.
• Orders (once the store opens). Your name, shipping address, email, and what you bought, so the piece can be printed and delivered. Payments are handled by the payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Basic server logs. Our host records things like IP address and browser type to keep the site running and stop abuse.
• The Wall. If you leave a note, we store the note, the optional name or initials you sign it with, and the time. It’s shown publicly and deleted automatically after about 7 days. Please don’t put personal information in a note.
• Spam protection. The signup form and the Wall keep a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) for up to one hour to stop automated abuse, then discards it.

Where it’s kept

Signups are stored in a private folder on our server that is not reachable from the web, and a copy is emailed to us. The site sets no cookies, runs no ad trackers, and loads its fonts from our own server. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you.

Who else sees it

We don’t sell or rent your information. It’s shared only with the services that make the label work: our web host, our email provider, the print-on-demand partner that prints and ships your order, and the payment processor. Each handles it under its own privacy terms.

Leaving the list

Every email we send has a way to opt out. You can also email paul@jaraf.net and ask us to remove you or delete what we hold. We do it by hand and will confirm when it’s done if you ask.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete it.

Please don’t send us emergencies

Don’t send emergency, medical, or highly sensitive information through this website or by email. Project 143 is not a support service. In the U.S., call or text 988 for immediate help.
